Vertex appoints new CEO to lead Indian business
Vertex has appointed Keshav Gaur as CEO India and member of the Vertex main Management Board with a responsibility to lead the business in India
Tweet-- Vertex has appointed Keshav Gaur as CEO India and member of the Vertex main Management Board with a responsibility to lead the business in India. In addition to the international business, he will build on the opportunities of the emerging domestic market.
Commenting on Keshav’s appointment, Vertex Chief Operating Officer Jeff Chittenden said: “India has always played a key role in our delivery strategy and in recent times especially so because of the opportunity of its expanding economy. In Keshav, Vertex has found a skilled and proven leader and I am confident that he will make a significant contribution as we enter the next phase of our growth”.
Prior to joining Vertex, Keshav was Country Head for Fidelity Business Services India Private Limited with responsibility of the managing the captive centre of FIL, UK. He has also held senior roles at IBM – Daksh, GE Capital – India Bank Card, American Express Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Citibank.
The existing management team in India will report to Keshav who will in turn report to Jeff Chittenden.
