GoldenSource Appoints Shashank Mishra Sales Manager for India, Creating Full Service Mumbai Presence
GoldenSource Corporation, a global software provider of enterprise data management (EDM) solutions for financial and securities institutions worldwide, today announced the appointment of Shashank Mishra as national sales manager for India. Mishra will be based in GoldenSource's Mumbai office. He reports to Hugh Stewart, vice president of sales, EMEA and Asia.

The addition of Mishra to the Mumbai office comes at a time, when, despite ongoing turmoil in the financial services sector, banks in the Asia Pac region are still projecting growth in targeted IT investments in 2009.

Before joining GoldenSource, Mishra worked at Reuters India as a sales specialist, where he managed enterprise business for South Asia. He has also held positions at Reliance Capital Asset Management, Ltd., Metlife India, Travelex, OM Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance and Netherlands India Communication Enterprise Ltd.
Mishra holds a B Com from Nagpur University and is an IRDA, AMFI and NCFM's Derivative certified professional.
