Arena Animation to organize Creative Minds & Placement Expo in Delhi
Event will be held on the 16th & 17th Nov 2008
-- In its endeavour to foster creativity, spirit of competition and professionalism among students, Arena Animation, the global leader in Animation & Multimedia training, is organizing Creative Minds, an inter centre competition for its North zone students along with a Placement Expo on the 16th & 17th November at New Delhi.
The Placement Expo would comprise of a seminar and aptitude test to be conducted by the Award Winning Animation Studio, Rhythm & Hues (India). Top e-learning companies, Television channels and other reputed companies involved in Web Animation / 3D Walkthroughs / Medical Animation would be participating in this expo. Students will be allowed to interact with HR-personnel of these companies and furnish their resumes and show reel. Selected candidates would be offered on-site placement.
Says Mr. Indranil Basu, Territory Academic Head, Arena Animation – North & East, “It has been our constant effort at Arena Animation to prepare our students as industry ready professionals. Through this event we would encourage students to be more focused and professional in their work and attitude. In the competition we would look towards originality, creativity, technical proficiency, presentation skills & timemanagement, etc., the essential ingredients to flourish in the Multimedia industry. Apart from this they would get a platform to interact and present their work to HR persons of reputed companies. We are also conducting master classes for our faculties by experts like Vaibhav Kumaresh, Sekhar Mukherjee and Subhajit Sarkar, so that they are able to deliver the best of industry relevant training to our students.”
For Creative Minds, students are required to design an advertisement to promote an original Brand, focused on R & D, Target Audience & Creative Concept with a proper balancing of Text and Graphics and an original punch line / caption. They could develop the advertisement either for the print medium or in a multimedia format (Interactive CD Rom Presentation / Animation / Web designing).
Awards will be given to the best three entries in each of the two categories.
