D&B’s Top IT Companies 2007 was launched by Mr. V. K. Magapu, Chief Executive, L&T Infotech; and Member of the Board, L&T. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Magapu said, “It is envisaged that the offshoring business from the developed countries will gather volume while at the same time add many new flavours and the good news is that offshoring to India is a "must do" for all.”
A panel discussion titled “Sustaining the IT Revolution: Challenges Ahead” was hosted by D&B to mark the occasion.

Companies with confirmed data of having a turnover above Rs 100 mn have been featured in this publication. The information is sourced and compiled from questionnaires circulated and administered by D&B India, telephonic interviews, and company authenticated information available in the public domain, like company annual reports and websites. Additionally, mass media channels such as advertisements in leading news dailies were used to invite participation in the publication.
Every effort was made to ensure that companies respond to the questionnaire. However, in the eventuality that a company has not responded with critical data, and/or information which is not available in the public domain, such companies have not been included in the publication. The companies profiled in this publication have been listed on various parameters, viz., total Income, services offered, verticals serviced, location and employee size. However, this listing is not exhaustive, due to exclusion of those companies that have not responded to the request for information.
