LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd, the leader in Consumer Electronics and Appliances reiterates its leadership in monitors market by achieving an astounding sale of 100,000 monitors in the month of July.

Commenting on this occasion, Mr. R. Manikandan, General Manger (Sales & Marketing), IT Products, LGEIL stated "LG has achieved a sale of 100,000 monitors in July and the channel's contribution to this has been immense. LG owes its success in the market to its aggressive marketing strategy and localized reseller schemes. It has captured a major share in the monitors market and has reiterated its strong position in the monitor market.

LG currently has 8 models of LCD and 5 models of CRT monitors in the market. It has also launched the world's first LCD Monitor with "F -Engine" technology which corrects and enhances the picture to make it look closer to real life images. Other unique aspects of LG's LCD Monitors are ultra-fast response time of eight milliseconds with better viewing angle and high contrast ratio. The USP of LG CRT monitor is its 180 0 swivel screens and high bright feature.

In the LCD space LG has 23 per cent market share whereas in the CRT the company commands 35 per cent market share. Going forward, LG plans to enhance its market share and the company will continue to strengthen its product portfolio as well as introduce more channel friendly schemes
