Oasis Center for Reproductive Medicine to Treat Emergent Gynecological Disorders and Infertility

-- Oasis Centre for Reproductive Medicine promoted by Sadguru Healthcare Services to offer efficient and evidence-based medical care, primarily to women with gynecological problems including conception was inaugurated in the city today. Dr J Geetha Reddy, Hon'ble Minister for Cultural Affairs & Tourism and Dr Evita Fernandez, Managing Director of the Fernandez Hospital unveiled these super specialty clinics at the facility.
Dr.Ms.Durga Rao, a specialist in reproductive medicine with over 10 years of experience in this field in UK and Canada will head the centre as the medical director. Dr. Durga underwent her professional training in the UK, and having obtained MRCOG she practiced there for a number of years. She furthered her experience in Canada as well and earned a Fellowship in Infertility and Minimal Access Surgery from McGill University, Canada.
Infertility affects nearly 10-15 per cent of couples in the reproductive age group in our country. In her comments Dr. Ms. Durga Rao said the advanced state of the art treatment regimes followed in Oasis will open up more options and allow for more suitable choices for women. Oasis will also provide multitude of women reproductive healthcare services including state-of-the-art equipment for storage & freezing of sperms, eggs and embryo storage. Joining Dr. Ms. Durga Rao in the centre is Surya Kiran Gedela, an ex management consultant with over 14 years experience in the field of information technology and financial and fiscal management. He heads the executive operations of the centre. He has over 8 years of experience working in top tier investment banks in London. He has successfully managed large projects and has implemented several products and practices in the financial controlling space across the globe in Deutsche Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland.
A number of medical specialists and eminent professionals in the city were also present on this occasion.
