ICRI-Health, Delhi along with Academy of Hospital Administration had organized a workshop on "Medical Tourism in India - A Global Perspective" on the 12th Sept 2009.

New Delhi, Delhi, September 16, 2009 /India PRwire/ -- ICRI-Health, Delhi along with Academy of Hospital Administration had organized a workshop on “Medical Tourism in India – A Global Perspective” on the 12th Sept 2009.

The Objectives of the workshop was to understand the healthcare set up in India with the perspective of international patients and learn about the role of healthcare facilitators. Also how to evolve a link between hospitals and healthcare facilitators (medical tour operators) and understand the government’s perspective in development and promotion of Health Tourism.Learning about the existing infrastructure and health tourism product of India was also taken into focus.

The workshop started with the inauguration by the Chief Guest Dr Sanjiv Malik, a renowned global business and healthcare leader & Executive Director of MMR Eye Institute.
