Inaugurated on the 14th of November, 2006, Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital is a homage and tribute to late Mr. Aditya Birla. He had envisioned a world class healthcare facility in India, and Mrs. Birla’s indefatigable efforts helped his vision take shape in the form of a state of the art “Medicity”.

Multi-speciality Aditya Birla Memorial hospital started a Dental Clinic, a Special clinic for child development, a Diabetic eye care clinic and an Obesity clinic in the year 07-08. The hospital represented India as the prime healthcare provider during the Commonwealth Youth Games in October 2008. The department of clinical haematology, transfusion medicine along with bone marrow transplant (BMT) Unit. The department will offer services related to diagnosis and management of various blood related disorders and conditions like anaemia and haemoglobinopathies, bone marrow failure syndromes ,blood and bone marrow related cancers and bleeding disorders, clotting disorders and bone marrow transplantation. For curing such disorders a state of art clinical ultraclean environment is required. To attain these objectives, the BMT unit is being commissioned.

The Diabetic club - This club is formed for the benefit of all diabetic patients. One can avail the membership of this club by paying Rs. 650/. The course module will be six months long with classes once a week.

On the occasion of completion of two years, Aditya Birla Hospital announced a Cataract camp in which free cataract surgeries are going to be performed on poor patients. This will be a regular feature hence forth. A breast cancer awareness and detection camp was also announced in which free consultation will be provided with an Onco physician (Lady) and if necessary free consultation with an Onco Surgeon.
