61 athletes were admitted and treated at Aditya Birla during CYG
During Commonwealth Youth Games serious cases of medicine and injuries were transferred to the multispeciality prime healthcare provider Aditya Birla Hospital.

A total of 61 cases from India and countries like Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Wales, Singapore, Kenya, Pakistan, Canada, Scotland and others were referred to ABMH during CYG because of various injuries like ankle injury, leg injury, shoulder dislocation, calf injury, Achilles tendon injury, back pain, hamstring injury to name a few. Cases of fever, hypertension, chest pain were also reported. The injured were brought to the well-equipped Accident and Emergency department and Dr. Sandeep Jain of the department with the support of orthopaedic surgeons like Dr. Ashim Wokhlu, Dr. J.C. Purohit and Dr. S. Shinde, Neurosurgeon Dr. Rakesh Ranjan and physicians Dr. Naik and Dr. M. Dadke attended to them instantly. Dr. Kiran Kharat, Joint Replacement surgeon was also a part of the committee formed by ABMH for CYG. State-of- the-art infrastructure with the latest technologies at Aditya Birla Hospital made the treatment successful and ensured quick recovery to all. Patients with severe injuries needed surgeries like the case of Fracture tibial tuberosity. All patients were very delighted with the care they received from the team in the hospital. Aditya Birla Hospital ensured that each of the sixty one patients were well attended to by the best doctors and were provided with all the facilities to make them feel at home and ensure quick recovery.
