The entire world’s Ophthalmologist gathered for a gala ceremony conducted every year to honor outstanding people in the field of eye care at the XXVI Congress of the ESCRS, Berlin 2008. For the first time in the history of ESCRS award, this year Dr.Agarwal’s Eye Hospital achieved the maximum by bagging three video film awards and one certification of appreciation for essay which was held at Berlin on 14/09/08.
Prof.Amar Agarwal, Joint Managing Director of Dr.Agarwal’s Eye Hospital bagged one the second prize in video film award category for Ocular neoplasia commonly known as cancer of eye, Dr.Athiya Agarwal, Director, Dr.Agarwal’s Eye hospital won the first prize in the video film award for coloboma (a part of rare cat eye syndrome) as well as won the second prize in video film award for aberropia and Dr.Soosan Jacob of Dr.Agarwal’s Eye Hospital won certificate of appreciation for essay in the Johnhenahan prize category.
