Simply Health Plus programme promoters, Dr. Rohit Sahni and Dr. Manisha Sahni of Panchkula, India,have been invited by the Health Promotion Board of Sinagpore for a study visit.

This is an opportunity to study how Singapore is engaged in improving health status of the people, especially the school going children, quality of life and illness prevention which we want to implement here in the schools of northern India for the benefit of every child, said Dr. Rohit Sahni.

The dentist couple launched a unique Health Plus programme for school children in 2004, which is successfully running in over 30 schools of North India, covering nearly 70,000 children, where children get regular health check-up and are made aware of various health related issues.

The visit to Singapore involves study of school dental service, oral health nd hygiene, infection control, and visits to field and mobile dental cinics, he informed. They are hopeful to introduce the same within the schools that are a part of Simply Health Plus in the near future.
