Mumbai, Maharashtra, September 24, 2013 /India PRwire/ --

How ready are global leaders to manage and thrive in the VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) business landscape in front of them? What do leaders and human resources professionals think they will need to be ready for what is ahead? What should your organization start doing that it is not doing now, to build a future supply of ready leaders? DDI and The Conference Board will answer these and twenty other critical questions in the 2014 Global Leadership Forecast.

Conducted in partnership with The Conference Board, this year's survey launching today will involve over 13,000 international leaders and 1,200 human resources professionals in more than 2,000 organizations across 16 different countries.

Increased analytics newly featured in this Forecast will enable DDI and The Conference Board to compare and contrast 15 years of data and key findings between geographies, leadership levels, industries, genders and generations. It will explore differences in perception between talent management executives and individual leaders and demonstrate the relationship between leadership practices and real measures of organizational performance.

Data collected will also address other timely leadership and HR issues such as:

- How to increase success rates for leaders transitioning globally;

- How HR can best connect with strategy;

- What specific leader skills most drive workforce preparation to achieve key business challenges and

- How insights gained from the survey can give an organization a competitive business advantage

Also this year, DDI crowd-sourced questions and topics global leaders and HR professionals want addressed and incorporated those into the survey. Additionally, a new, interactive data view will facilitate the exploration and visualization of survey insights in these reports. This valuable tool will allow organizations to compare where their companies stand relative to other organizations in their region and industry.

Leaders, Managers, HR professionals are invited to complete the survey and take advantage of exciting incentives-the first 100 HR respondents will be entered in a drawing to receive a DDI web-based training course for 50 of their frontline leaders. Once they complete the survey, they will have an opportunity to distribute a special survey to their leaders. Every HR professional and company who delivers 1 HR and 30 leader responses will receive an invaluable, customized benefit: a free report benchmarking the organization against global and industry norms. The first 15 to meet this goal will also be entered in a drawing for a free DDI web-based training course for 50 frontline leaders.
