Venky's first overseas Poultry Feed Mill in South East Asia

Venky's (Vietnam) Co Ltd., a Wholly Owned Subsidiary that VH Group (Venkateshwara Hatcheries) said that Venky's has forayed into the South East Asian market, with a state of the art poultry feed manufacturing facility in the Tay Ninh Province of Vietnam - the first Indian company to do so.
Venky's (Vietnam) Co. Ltd. organized a Farmer's Meet at Caravelle Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City on 27th of May 2010 to mark the launch of their company The event was inaugurated by Mr. Kuldeep Singh, Acting Consul, Consulate General of India, Vietnam.
During his inaugural address, Mr. Kuldeep Singh, appreciated the vibrant economy of Vietnam and welcomed the VH Group to the Host country. Mr. Henrique Calisto, Head Coach of Vietnam National Football Team was the Guest of honour and Event Ambassador of the Company for the purpose of opening ceremony and delighted the audience by interacting with them.
The Joint Managing Director of VH Group and the Managing Director of Venky's (Vietnam) Co. Ltd., Mr. B. Venkatesh Rao facilitated the dignitaries and dedicated the Plant under construction to the Poultry Farmers of Vietnam. Around 300 poultry farmers from different provinces of South Vietnam, Agri-commodity suppliers, poultry feed dealers, Board of Governors and members from Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam and other Indian investors and bankers were also present during the meet.
Working with the Bourbon An Hoa Corporation, the VH Group was able to locate a suitable site in Bourbon An Hoa Industrial Park in Tay Ninh Province of Vietnam.
The VH Group (Venkateshwara Hatcheries) is the leading Indian poultry conglomerate based in Pune. Venky's (Vietnam) Co. Ltd., with an Investment of around 4 Million USD, will be a major stepping stone for the VH Group to strengthen its position in the South East Asian market.
The Feed Plant is scheduled to become operational by the end of 2010, providing job opportunities to around 100 skilled and unskilled personnel in the region in the initial year of operation. Venky's (Vietnam) Co. Ltd. will produce around 4500 MTs of poultry feed per month to cater to the requirements of poultry farmers of Vietnam, especially South Vietnam.
About 300 farmers who graced the occasion were very happy because Mr. B. Venkatesh Rao announced Technical services in their area.Venky's (Vietnam) Co. Ltd. is also planning to establish a state of the art poultry diagnostic laboratory with all the latest diagnostics facilities in South Vietnam to provide free diagnostic and technical services to the Vietnamese Poultry Farmers.
Mr.Henrique Calisto is board member of technical training Football Portugal, Portuguese National Assembly MPs step training first-class clubs and exceptional Portugal. He went to Vietnam in June 2001 and has devoted so much for Vietnam football. Currently, he is head coach of the national football team & U23 Vietnam was the Guest of honour and Event Ambassador of the company said "company is very good in quality and assured the farmers that now they will get the good quality feed."
