Mr. Shaji Purushothaman, the 33-year-old son of Empee Group Founder-Chairman Mr. M. P. Purushothaman, took over as Managing Director of Empee Distilleries Limited recently. An Arts Graduate, Mr. Shaji has over a decade of rich, administrative experience having served as Managing Director of Empee Infotech Limited from 1996 to 2000 and Director Marketing of Empee Distilleries Limited from 2000 to 2004. He is currently engaged in executing and implementing the diversification plans of the group. He has more than a decade of administrative experience.
