Tweet-- "I think nothing much should be read from the food inflation numbers, the variations we are seeing on a weekly basis are statistical and temporary in nature. The fundamental is that food inflation is here to stay and with India still deficient in rains by 15 - 20 % it will be difficult to contain food inflation in the coming months. Any monetary measures by RBI would not help out in containing food inflation and hence I would not want RBI to raise the rates in the coming policy meet."- Mr. Siddharth Shankar.
