Punjab National Bank Chakan Branch Inaugurated.
Executive Director of the Punjab National Bank (PNB) Mr. Mohan Tanksale inaugurated the Pune Circle's 48th branch and Pune city's 18th branch in the industrial suburb of Chakan alongwith an ATM on Sinhagad Road today .

Field General Manager of the Bank Mr. K Arvindakshan and Pune Circle head Mr. S. K Chopra were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Tanksale said that the PNB was aiming at a total business of Rs 10 Lakh crores and a 15 crore customer base by 2013.
The Branch at Chakan has provided the PNB appropriate opportunity to serve the growing e Small and medium Enterprises in the area, and the agricultural community apart from other industries situated in the fastest growing suburb of Pune, Mr. Tanksale said.
Rapid Housing construction in the Chakan belt also will provide us an opportunity to increase our presence in the housing loan sector through the Chakan branch, he added. Mr. Tanksale further o said that the Agricultural community was the backbone of the bank and over 60% customers of the PNB were farmers. With the inauguration of the Chakan branch and the ATM the bank has over 4784 Branches and 3697 ATM all over the country.
