India's Animation Guru's Explore China
CEO's from Crest Animation, Virgin Animation and Animation Xpress are gathering in Suzhou, China to help animation companies with their creative ideas, business models, and international partnerships.

International Mentors joining the trio of India’s Animation Powerbrokers include: Raman Hui, the Hong Kong director of Shrek the Third; Michael B. Johnson, the head of Moving Pictures at Pixar Studios; Duncan Brinsmead, the Principal Scientist for Maya software; Sue Erokan, Supervisor of Character Animation at Dreamworks; Masakazu Kubo, the Executive Producer of the Pokemon Film and TV Series; Nickson Fong, the Founder of Egg Story, Singapore’s animation success story; Dan Scott, the Head of Global Production, Nokia Games; Heather Kenyon, Formerly Director of Development, Original Animation, Cartoon Network,andTim Brooke-Hunt, the Head of Childrens Televison at Australia’s ABC.
China participants include a ‘who’s who’ of the China animation industry.
The “Wealth of Animation” Lab consists of one Keynote Conference day open to all animation industry professionals, followed by the closed-door two-day Lab where the international mentors will work one-on-one with the selected companies on their own animation creative ideas, business plans, and international contacts and partnerships.
Suzhou is one of China’s animation centers of excellence, and animation companies from across India are being invited to attend X|Media|Lab Suzhou to make contact with some of the best people from all over the world and forge exciting new partnerships with the booming animation industries of China.
