Gitanjali Lifestyle is the title sponsor for the upcoming Kolkata Couture Fashion Week (KCFW) 2010. This is the first season of this premium event, all set to showcase the couture collection for 2010. It will be held from Sept 9 to 12, 2010 at Swiss Hotel in Kolkata. Designers Archana Kochcher, Vikram Phadnis along with Kartik Jobanputra from Apex Entertainment, Claudia Ciesla-Model/Actor and Isha Sawhney from Gitanjali Lifestyle were present at the press conference in Mumbai and would also be showcasing their respective collections at the grand show in Kolkata.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mehul Choksi, Chairman Gitanjali Group said, "The Kolkata India Couture Week 2010 is certainly an important hub of all creative and business forces responsible for making West Bengal a key fashion market. It certainly offers a gigantic potential to capture the consumer mindspace and subtly weave in the trends of jewellery and accessories as well. Keeping with the creative enthusiasm depicted by the fashion industries and the design process equally challenged and energized, Gitanjali Lifestyle this year is the presenting sponsor the event."
Swiss hotel presents "Gitanjali Lifestyle Kolkatta Couture Fashion Week" would showcase the inaugural show of the Kolkatta Couture Fashion Week on 9th September , where designer duo Rahul and Gunjan would be showcasing their collection. Giantti will accentuate the collection with a dazzling range of high end luxury jewellery, from an array of Indian and international luxury brands that come with an exquisite allure and appeal.
Whereas on 11th September Swiss Hotel presents "Gitanjali Lifestyle Kolkatta Couture Fashion Week" would showcase a one and a half hour entertainment sequence and jewellery showcase by leading designer Wendell Rodricks.
