JYOTHIRAMYASHANTI
Three designers - Jyothi, Ramya and Shanti - have created an assorted collection of evening wear, integrating western, Indian and men's wear into the ensemble. The idea is to combine various design features, without compromising on the style quotient...revealing a bold and confident persona. The variety that has been enmeshed in this show breaks the mundane and provides a visual treat.
Jyothi Rajai for Madhurya - a tribute to Indian ethnicity and heritage. The designs in the Madhurya collection reflect upon the unique aspects of Indian designs and garments that have been evolving over hundreds of years. Created by artisans and influenced by keen senses, the patterns and style features of Madhurya stand out in their boldness and appeal, complimenting each other in myriad fashions. The ensemble consists of tastefully crafted sarees, salwar suits, gaghras and kurtas, in fabrics like brocade, mukesh, taffeta, habutai, lucknoi, satin, crepe and knit. Comfort, style and simplicity of designs are the stand out features of this collection.
Ramya Sekar presents an exclusive and exquisite creation of abstract art, embedded in elegantly designed collection of evening wear, adding richness and color to the garment; bestowing expression and character to the person. Every design, crafted in evening shades of blues, greens along with a myriad of accentuated colours, upon excellent fabrics like lycra, georgette, crepe and satin, sets the perfect rhythm for an unforgettable evening. The art, the design and the fabric blend in perfect harmony with the natural world, reminding us the one singular truth...of all creations of nature, we are its masterpiece.
Shanti Dheeraj showcases an exotic collection of tunics and mini dresses, for the women who like to put themselves out there. The use of deep colours, with metallics for accents symbolises the mysticism of the night. Meticulously chosen fabrics like suede, taffeta, chiffon and fancy blends, combined with asymmetric patterns, pleats and cowl are used to fashion each outfit to give it that feminine, sexy and chic look. The forms are played around with two kinds of silhouettes, A-line and figure-hugging, along with empire cuts in many of the outfits, make every woman connect with her naughty side with panache.

Vidhi Shah's collection emphasizes on stylish, trendy and affordable fashion for the working woman. With an influence that is global, the collection lays emphasis on the Indian touch with embroidery but with a complete western sensibility in cut, colour and styles. The colour palette for the season includes earthy winter tones of with a dash of colour through embroidery and embellishments. Tunics, dresses and leggings form the base of this collection with an emphasis on comfort and affordability in hosiery fabrics like viscose, viscose lycra and cotton lycra, perfect for the hot Indian weather. Richa Kapoor's collection is an effort to reclaim the princely heritage & relive those forgotten chapters of Indian royalty. Her collection targets Indian festivities as a great time to go all out and dress extravagant and oppulent. She calls it "OPPULENCE FOR THE DIVA".
The colors she uses this season are bold and electric ranging from blues, pinks, peaches, greens. The fabric used is a rich riot of sheer nets, satins, brocades, velvets, banarsies and georgettes. Different fabrics are thrown together to form an eclectic yet cosy and warm collection Her collection comprises of sarees which are traditional yet global in their stylizations, Heavily ornate lehngas, ghaghras and the evergreen anarkalies. To sum up...her collection is to bring out the glamorous diva ...the "todays woman" who walks the red carpet of life.

The collection by Nishka Lulla is young and chic, primarily floral designs, embellished with bright multi coloured buttons inspired by the tranquility of the nature, the ensembles reflect the charm of the varied colours surrounding us. The collection comprises of lovely, stylish dresses and maxis in printed cotton silks. Her style mantra speaks that dressing up is incomplete unless it creates a unique identity for the person wearing it, as she believes that her collection is for every girl who believes that her dreams are her world.

Eccentric Rock - The Next Episode's Fall 2010 Collection recalls the magnificent past of India's Royal Design history. The Next Episode's Fall 2010 collection of pret, couture and women's wear lines, is inspired by Indian drapes, represented in a contemporary fashion. A representation of the transitional journey that Indian designs have undergone.
The versatile nature of the six yard fabric inspires much of the collection.
