The “Streax Savvy Cover Girl 2007” is being held for the first time in Delhi. The first event held in Mumbai last year. The finale will be an evening of glamour, glitter and style. The winner will get a once in a life time chance to be on the cover of India’s Most Popular Women’s magazine “SAVVY” from the stable of Magna Publishing Co. Ltd.

On the 4th of November 2007 at 7:30 PM at The Grand-Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, the most Glamorous Diva of India will be crowned in the presence of India’s top fashion designers, socialites, models, corporates, and many other achievers in various fields.

According to Ms. Andrea Costa Bir, Editor, “Savvy”, “The competition was open for the girls all over India between the age group of 16-25. The huge success of this contest last year has brought in hundreds of entries from all over the India for this year’s title. The contest will give the final winner a fantastic platform to be launched in the field of glamour, showbiz, and entertainment. Besides appearing on the cover of Savvy Magazine, the finalist will be jointly promoted by Savvy and Streax who are the title sponsors for the event. Through “Streax Savvy Cover Girl 2007” Contest, we want to discover a new face that will combine beauty, brains attitude and style. This is such a huge contest where leaders from the fashion and beauty world will come to see who’ll be the next “Streax Savvy Cover Girl 2007.”

Before the grand finale, the 15 finalist will undergo grooming by Mumbai choreographer Lovell Prabhu and other eminent personalities like Ambika Pillai, Shahnaz Hussain, Ranna Gill, Alka Bali & Dr. Shikha Sharma. Fashion Designer Ranna Gill will also style and dress the contestants for the Finale.

The ‘Streax Savvy Cover Girl 2007’ will be judged by luminaries from diverse fields. Names such as Rohit Bal, Kalyani Chawla, Gonzalo Ortiz (Deputy Head of Mission, SPAIN), Priya Chatwal, Atul Wasan, Dilip Cherian, Andrea Costa Bir –Savvy Editor will be on the panel

The Final evening will have Meher Bhasin as MC, and Bollywood Diva Koena Mitra & Singer Shibani Kashyap will be dazzling the audience with their performance. The final round contestants will be dressed by Ranna Gill and accessorized by Alka Bali. There will also be a sari sequence by Satya Paul.
