Actress "Meeta Vasisht" Joins Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares Faculty

Meeta is a renowned television, film and theatre actress who has left an impress in all three media with herpowerful and intense performances. A post-graduate in literature from PunjabUniversity, Chandigarh, and a graduate from the National School of Drama(Delhi), she was trained under the famous Patsy Rodenburg, UK’s legendary voiceand speech coach whose alumni included Lady Diana. Meeta has been on the visiting faculty ofsome of the premier design, film and theatre institutes of India; NIFT (Delhi),FTII (Pune), NSD (Delhi) and the NID (Ahmedabad). She has also conductedtheatre workshops in the UK (London, Birmingham, Leicester) and in Damascus.She teaches students of fashion design, film direction and acting, usingtheatre techniques. Meeta will teach in all the branches of Actor Prepares.

Meeta Vasishth has done manyfilms namely Taal, Ghulam, Phir Milenge, Maya, Kuch Khati Kuch Meethi etc. Alsoshe has been a part of many T.V Serials including Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki &Swabhimaan. “Meeta is a fine actress whohas straddled many media; theatre, television and cinema. She is also anaccomplished writer and teacher having conducted workshops on acting anddirection in UK and elsewhere. With her diverse experience, Meeta will be avaluable asset and talent multiplier at Actor Prepares,” says Mr Anupam Kher.
