Speaking on the occasion, Mr Arun K Chittilappilly, Managing Director Wonderla, said, “It is great day for us at Wonderla because rarely do amusement parks introduce four rides in a day, that too with the support of such dignitaries. All the rides are manufactured using imported technology, at our R & D division ensuring world class safety standards. We believe in bringing the best in entertainment as many of our rides are state-of-the-art and cannot be found anywhere in India. The Indian amusement park is still evolving and the future holds exciting prospects.”

Ø Dungeons of Horror is the most frightening spook house in the country. The ride is based on a fictional account of a savage jail warden - Amarjeet Rane. The ride explores the darkest recesses of a tormented mind and employs the most sophisticated computer technology to make the peoples blood run cold. This is one ride that challenges rider’s wits. This unique ride combines complex hydraulic and pneumatic controlled attractions and the entire attraction works automatically without any human interference.

Ø Crazy Wagon is the massive family ride popular in many amusement parks abroad, themed like a horse-wagon. It is an insanely oscillating wagon that swings in every possible direction. It moves to an amazing height of 66ft and appeals to riders of all ages, offering a huge orbiting sensation, with alternating movements of varying speed, both clockwise and anti-clockwise. The ride uses imported drive train and mechanical parts.

Ø Boomerang is another thrilling water ride in Wonderla that will test rider’s nerves as the float moves into a closed tunnel for a while and suddenly drops from a height into a large boomerang shaped water slide resulting in a repeated to and fro motion.

Ø Hang Glider is another adventurous ride that takes the riders a trip on the air at a dizzying height on steel cables and glides down at speed giving a feeling of flight. The movements are computer controlled using a complex system of hydraulic lifts and pulleys, and ensures the international safety standards. The ride gives an opportunity to have a sight on the whole Wonderla and its surroundings.
