BIG 92.7 FM launches "Big RJ Hunt" in Kolkata

Tweet-- BIG 92.7 FM, India’s No 1 Radio Station is providing a platform for self expression to the youth of Kolkata by urging them to display their wit and entertain the city, through the BIG RJ Hunt in Kolkata. Winners of this unique talent hunt will get an opportunity to become a professional RJ with BIG 92.7 FM Kolkata.
BIG 92.7 FM will select a total of four candidates from the ongoing initial auditions. The short listed candidates would undergo a period of training and the two most proficient participants will get offers from BIG 92.7 FM to host shows and become full time RJs.
This is a first of its kind initiative in Kolkata by BIG 92.7 FM in which the youngsters of the city will be adjudged on their wit, voice and confidence levels coupled with their entertainment quotient which can take them further in pursuing a career option in Radio Industry.
Every week day from 3pm -6pm auditions are taking place at the BIG 92.7 FM studio at Millennium City IT Park Salt Lake Sector V. The youth of Kolkata have responded enthusiastically and there are serpentine queues outside the BIG 92.7 FM everyday of the week. The auditions will continue till BIG 92.7 FM Kolkata finds its RJ.
Speaking about this unique RJ Hunt, Bodhayan Roychaudhury’, Station Head, Kolkata, BIG 92.7 FM, said, “Through the BIG RJ Hunt we are looking for some witty and confident youngsters who are skillful, verbally talented and confident and have a good ear for music. We believe the city has rich talent and all that these young people require, is a platform to express themselves, which we are offering. This is a move in the right direction for those aspiring for a career as an RJ in particular of the radio industry in general.”
