CINEMAX crosses 50 screens with Launch of Cinemax Gandhinagar (Gujarat)

The luxurious property opened its plush and high tech interiors with the biggest releases of the year "Aaja Nachale", "Om Shanti Om" and "Goal". The celebration and excitement went up a level higher, as none other than the Bollywood hunk – John Abraham inaugurated the new property to set the multiplex functioning!
With this new property, Cinemax launched its 2nd property at Gujarat, the first one being the recently launched multiplex at Himmatnagar. CINEMAX, Gandhinagar is a symbol of style with an attractive front foyer and intelligent lighting, along with top-of-the-line amenities. This glamorous multiplex will offer its patrons an out-of this-world experience. Superb acoustic sound systems will enhance each movie-watching experience. It is a four screen multiplex which seats 869 patrons and is home to Cinemax's very own style symbol – THE RED LOUNGE. Patrons can sink into their cozy sofas and savour personalized café service while enjoying their favorite movies.

Cinemax recently announced its half yearly unaudited consolidated financial results for the year 2007-08. The Company has posted impressive results and achieved gross income of Rs. 5165 Lacs on consolidated basis.
The Company has posted Profit Before Tax (PBT) of Rs.1201 Lacs and Profit after tax (PAT) at Rs. 799 lacs on consolidated basis for the period ended on September 30, 2007.
True to its byline of " Enjoy Relax: Cinemax", Cinemax Multiplex so far has hosted number of high flying premieres including Dhamaal, Nanhe Jaisalmer, Manorama-Six feet Under, Partner, Apne, Cheeni Kum, Swami, Dharm, Pirates of the Caribbean III, 300, and others at its facilities in Mumbai. These multiplex experts are sure to conduct similar successful events at this upcoming property as well.
