Tweet-- People Pictures, the films & entertainment division of People Group today announced the appointment of Aditya Shastri as its CEO. The appointment comes close on the heels of the People Group’s announcement of its foray into film production. In his role as CEO – People Pictures, Aditya Shastri will be spearheading the company on its aggressive growth path to become one of the leading Indian Creative Studio. Prior to joining People Pictures, Aditya Shastri was handling the CEO’s profile for the Corporate Division of UFO Moviez in India. He has also held the Chief Operating Officer position for UTV Motion Pictures previously and brings with him over a decade’s rich experience in films marketing & production.

People Pictures, will be looking at making any genre of films which would be content driven, keeping in mind the change in audience mindsets in today’s India. People Pictures is working on a slate of films currently, and is set to start 4 major projects over the next 18 months.
