SAB brings a refreshing change in 'Yes Boss'
Nigar Khan joins as the New Big Boss
Tweet-- Starting this month Yes Boss, the longest running comedy programme on SAB has added double measure of fun, laughter, and entertainment by introducing a new character that will add more sizzle, spice and entertainment to the show. It is none other than the very popular, gorgeous and sexy Nigaar Khan who ventures into the unchartered territory of comedy and makes an entry as a big boss on Yes Boss.
Yes Boss is a weekly sitcom, which revolves around a couple Meera enacted by Kavita Kapoor and Mohan enacted by Rakesh Bedi working in the same office where the husband is junior to his wife. Their much-married boss Vinod Varma enacted by Asif Sheikh is infatuated with Meera and consistently tries to seduce her. But the twist in the tale comes with the entry of Nigaar aka Angelina, who is the Boss of Asif Sheikh.
Nigaar Khan enacting the role of Angelina is a hot and sexy boss, with a colourful wardrobe and a soft spot for men who give her the attention that she wants. No sooner than she joins the advertising agency she develops strong fondness for Mohan. But, Mohan true to his nature of being a loyal husband does not reciprocate her feelings. Thus starts a series of attempts by Nigaar Khan to trap him, which leave the audiences on series of humorous escapades.
Commenting on the show, Nigaar Khan said, "This is my first attempt at doing comedy and I must admit I was a little nervous initially working with veterans like Rakesh Ji, Kavita Kapoor Asif Sheikh and Sulbha Ji, but they all have been very supportive and guided me throughout the show.”
She further added that, “The best part about doing comedy sitcom is that you just keep laughing even after an entire day of shooting.”
Priya Mishra, Programming Head, SAB says, “Adding a newer element to the show was very important at this stage as it will add more spice and entertainment in the storyline. Also casting Nigaar in this new avatar was a surprise element for the viewers.”
Finally this added twist will bring alive lots of entertainment, laughter and joy to the lives of millions of viewers and Let’s just hope that with the addition of another new character to the show, Yes Boss team laugh their way through another 500 such episodes ..!
