Sehr Mahmood wins Queen of Elegance!
Sehr Mahmood won Queen of Elegance at the Queen of the World 2006 pageant held in Germany.
Tweet-- Pakistan wins a third international title this year in beauty pageants. This time its Queen of Elegance won by Sehr Mahmood the winner of the Miss Pakistan World 2006 pageant who went to Germany to compete in the Queen of the World 2006 pageant held in Mannheim, Germany. Hailing from Karachi, Pakistan, the 25 year old is completing her Masters Program degree in Business at the moment. The 4th Miss Pakistan World did not come empty handed back home.
Sonia Ahmed, president of Miss Pakistan World says, “I am very proud and excited, at this time, and this has been the best year for international pageants for Pakistan. We just won three international titles this year only and now we have 5 international titles since 2003.”
Sehr Mahmood said that she was very happy to be honored to receive this title and the Queen of Elegance title presented by the Queen of the World 2006 pageant was something she did not expect. Being in Germany was a great experience for Sehr and now she is looking forward for a fun filled year, finishing her final 6 months for the Miss Pakistan World company.
Queen of the World 2006 started in 1988, and since then has attracted around 50-55 delegates from around the world. In 2005, Queen of the World, Anja Buettgen from South Africa was the title holder. 1st runner up was Danielle Lloyd (21) from England and the 2nd runner up became Queen of Croatia, Zorica Pupovac (23).
The final night of the Queen of the World 2006 took place Dec 12, 2006 in Mannheim, Germany and Cuba was the newly crowned Queen of the World 2006.
