-- Kyocera Corporation (NYSE:KYO)(TOKYO:6971) and various Kyocera Group companies will introduce their advanced products at the Electronica India 2010 exhibition (Hall 2, Booth 2325) which will take place at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre in Bangalore, India September 7-10, 2010.
During the exhibition, Kyocera Group companies will highlight their latest and most innovative products, including an array of electronic components (circuit components, crystal components, multilayer ceramic capacitors and connectors, etc.) and LCDs. This will be the second time that the Kyocera Group will showcase its latest products at a major exhibition in India.
According to an updated forecast by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), India is expected to achieve a real GDP growth rate of 9.4% in 2010. "The successful conclusion of the 3G licensing auction by the India government in May of this year has given even further impetus to the development of the telecommunications sector, and strong economic growth is driving consumer spending which presents many business opportunities for components suppliers," stated Hideki Kitamura, Managing Director of KYOCERA Asia Pacific India Pvt. Ltd. "Kyocera believes that the use of our advanced products will enable customers to develop the most innovative and environmentally-friendly products, and thus help to further contribute to the continued growth of the Indian economy."
