-- Veta, Asia’s largest Spoken English Training Academy and a brand owned by Amoha Education (P) Ltd has been awarded as the International franchisee of the year 2009 by the prestigious Franchising & Licensing Association (FLA) in Singapore. The FLA Awards is being held for the fifth time, and is a highly respected award among the local franchises in Singapore.
Veta made a foray into Singapore in the beginning of the year 2008 and to receive this award in one year’s time is a great achievement. The Award provides a platform to showcase successful franchise concepts, thus facilitating further development of franchise companies in both domestic and international markets. This award also recognizes the performance of the franchisees and acknowledges the efforts made by each of these businesses in reaching out to their audiences. ?
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ganesh Ram, Managing Director, Veta said “We are extremely delighted at being awarded this prestigious recognition in a very short time of one year of our presence in Singapore. Being acknowledged as the International franchise of year makes us proud of having brought our services to Singapore and creating the need for quality English. At times of economic recession franchising allows companies to grow their business without having to compromise on the quality of business and helps reach our target audiences.”
Over the past 28 years, Veta has grown widely in all aspects and has been accepted as the preferred institute to learn spoken English by people not only in India, but also across the globe. The academy also plans to diversify to other Asian countries subsequently. This is the first time that an English Training Academy is pursuing its long term objective of making India a global hub. Amoha Learning Solutions has set an ambitious target to have 1000 centres in the South Asian countries including Singapore, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Hong Kong and China by 2010.
