After a successfulmonth of launch of personalized printed paper greeting cards, www.papam.in is adding another twist in their "No More E-Cards, No More E-Greetings" campaign. "Being away from our friends and family in India, we always wanted to send greeting cards to our near and dear ones in India on all the festivals and occasions. Once PAPAM put the part of printed greeting cards in place, we wanted more real life experience, in the way of getting Hand Made and Hand Crafted Greeting cards. 3-D cards were already planned by PAPAM India team to be launched some time in future. Users will be able to view and purchase the 3-D cards starting next week. Citing about the 3-D cards, Veerendra Jaitly, another IITian (IIT Kharagpur, 1979) associated with the company as Advisor, Mentor and Director, tells- " Range of 3-D cards will also be personalized. User will be able to create their own message in the same way as they were doing for normal printed cards. Only difference is in the process of finish. The printed cards have a dual finish system, while the 3-D range needs 4 rounds of finishing. From user perspective, it just adds one more day in the processing. Demand of 3-D cards has currently come from our Corporate clients but we are sure that retail users will also like them." The team is working on 3-D modeling technology for giving the users a real time feel of the cards without even touching them. "Media is providing us good coverage and it is helping us add more users. But our total thrust is on Better Customer Service, because it is the service that matters most for the customer, apart from the product quality. It would be very early to comment, but our customers have started appreciating our customer service and time bound response mechanism"- adds Jaitly.
