Inaugural Australian Alumni Excellence Awards Presented

The inaugural Australian Alumni Excellence Awards were presented at an awards ceremony held in New Delhi on Saturday, October 9.

Alumni Excellence Award for Research and Innovation Dr Sudhanshu Vrati, Dean of the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India An alumni of Australian National University, Dr. Vrati has specialised in research for development of vaccines and anti-virals against Japanese Encephalitis (JE) using his skills in virology and vaccinology acquired in Australia leading into the development of an excellent vaccine for the disease.
