Mumbai, Maharashtra, July 15, 2010 /India PRwire/ -- Dr. Mala Srivastava of SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies was awarded "Outstanding Teacher of Management of the Year Award 2010" by the Bombay Management Association (BMA) at a ceremony on 29th June, 2010.

Dr. Mala Srivastava is a Ph.D. in marketing and Professor & Chairperson(Marketing) at School of Business Management of NMIMS.

The award is being given to full time management faculty members for their participation and contribution to major research work, publications, consultancy projects, professional bodies, and development of the institute and corporate life.

NMIMS has won this award for the 10th time. In previous years Prof. Rajan Saxena (1990-1991), Prof. Y. K. Bhushan (1991-1992), Dr. H. H. Mankad (1992-1993), Dr. Aneeta Madhok (1998-1999), Dr. N. M. Kondap (2000-2001), Dr. Naresh Singh (2003-2004), Dr. Meena Galliara (2004-2005), Dr. Bala Krishnamoorthy (2005-2006) and Dr T T Kachwala (2008-2009) have been awarded with the same for their contribution to management education.
