Literacy awareness camp in slums of Ambil Odha Vasahat an initiative by Syuradatta group on its Literacy Awareness day. - Aapla Ghar -Students and faculty members visited "Aapla Ghar" Orphanage for interaction with the children and donation of chocolates, Books, Stationary and clothes to them. - Poona Blind Men Association'- Funds raised thorough the events for Visually Impaired and Physically Challenged People and donated to the 'Poona Blind Men Association'. - On clean Pune day planted 50 new trees and cleaned the Bhamburda forest by collecting plastic and other garbage in 300 trash bags
Tweet-- Pune, Suryadatta group of institutes celebrated its seven day long day program 'Suryostav 2010. Suryotsav Showcases the best in - house talents from the students of various institutes of the Suryadatta Group in the spheres of academics, sports, cultural, co-curricular, extra curricular events. The institute celebrated this festive occasion with a lot of joy and fervor by the Students, and the Faculty Members and the Management Committee members as well.
On the occasion World Forestery day 21st March - the students and the members of teaching staff planted 50 new trees and cleaned the Bhamburda forest by collecting plastic and other garbage in 300 trash bags they also cleaned the road and the surrounding area nearby vicinity in their respective campuses. They also brought old (in working condition / usable condition) Cloths / Stationary / Toys and submit it to their class coordinators. Collected Cloths / Stationary / Toys which was donated to an orphanage house, old age home or to needy people.
On this occasion students from all the institutes of Suryadatta group come together. The 10 day programme had a series of events lined up for every day. Every day was dedicated to a particular themes namely Corporate day,Saree-Tie day & chocolate day,Blue pink Day,Jeans and T-Shirt Day,Mix and match day, Traditional Day & rose day, Silence Day, Create the best from the waste Day, No personal vehicle Day & Save environment day, Clean - Green Pune Day & Old Cloths / Stationary / Toys Collection Day,Literacy Awareness Camp, Fun Fair and Entrepreneurial Skill Day and last but not the least Fund Raising Activity .The students were given a very remarkable platform to present their talents .The students performed enormously well in the events and were awarded accordingly.
A literacy awareness camp was organized by the suryadatta group in the slums of Ambil Odha Vasahatab as a part of their literacy awareness day. An initiative for promoting the importance of education.
Also through their literacy awareness day the students, faculty members accompanied by Mrs. Sushma Chordiya visited "Aapla Ghar" Orphanage to interact with the children and distributed chocolates, Books, Stationary and clothes to the children. Everyone enjoyed and had a fun time chatting and playing with the children at Aapla Ghar.
As a part of Suryadatta Institute's social initiative they raised funds for Visually Impaired and Physically Challenged People through these events and donated the same to the 'Poona Blind Men Association' and Handicapped Centre as a token of contribution for their rehabilitation. "A delightful week with a Nobel cause" a magnificent effort by the suryadatta group of Institutes.
