Shobhit University sends a young faculty to London under Capacity Building Program.

Shobhit University, Meerut has developed a Young Faculty Capacity Building Scheme in collaboration with University of Westminster, London. This program has been initiated to fill the gap of availability of well qualified young faculty with international exposure, in the universities and higher education institutes in the country.

Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, December 1, 2009 /India PRwire/ -- Shobhit University, Meerut has developed a Young Faculty Capacity Building Scheme in collaboration with University of Westminster, London. This program has been initiated to fill the gap of availability of well qualified young faculty with international exposure, in the universities and higher education institutes in the country. Under this program Shobhit University will sponsor one of it's young faculty to complete PG program from University of westminster, London. This year Shobhit University has sponsored Mr. Anubhav Tiwari, a Senior Lecturer in the School of Electronics Engineering of Shobhit University, for doing M.Sc. in Mobile, Personal and Satellite Communications from London. He has also been awarded full Tuition Fee waiver Scholarship by the University of Westminster, London under the scheme.

Shobhit University also has Student exchange and collaborative research Agreement with the University of Westminster. Under Progression Agreement, Shobhit University's 1st semester pass M.Tech. students can join in 2nd semester of University of Westminster's M.S. Engg. programme by transfer of their subject credits. On their return to India, they can complete M.Tech. using the transfer credits from University of Westminster programme. Similarly Shobhit University's 2nd year B.Tech. pass students can avail lateral entry into 3rd Year of undergraduate Engineering programmes of University of Westminster.
