Dr Karan Singh delivers inaugural address at NIIT University, Neemrana

Tweet-- The not-for-profit NIIT University held its inaugural lecture by Dr Karan Singh, Chairperson NIIT University and Hon'ble Member of Parliament. Dr Karan Singh also inaugurated the Mobius Ring at the campus earlier in the day. Rajendra S Pawar, Founder NIIT University and Chairman NIIT Limited, Dr Rajeev Shorey, President, NIIT University and other eminent guests were present on the occasion.
Mobius Ring, the emblem of NIIT University, symbolises eternity. The sides of the Mobius ring merge in and out, back and forth to create the most graceful, seamless and complete structure imaginable to the human mind. Similarly, the knowledge that NIIT University imparts is the foundation for multifaceted careers, endless in their potential.
In his inaugural address at NIIT University, Dr Karan Singh explained the meaning of the motto of NIIT University, Anadi-Anant, which implies that the Universe is eternal - without beginning and without end, thereby symbolizing Seamlessness. The Mobius Ring that the NIIT University has chosen as its emblem also represents the inter-connectedness of all knowledge.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Karan Singh, Chairperson NIIT University and Hon'ble Member of Parliament said, "The concept that knowledge should be looked upon from a holistic rather than a sectional point of view is steadily gaining acceptance around the world. The rigid demarcation into departments and disciplines is giving way to inter-disciplinary approaches whereby students can not only take advantage of the latest technology, but also ground themselves in our rich, pluralistic, multi-faceted spiritual and intellectual heritage. Offering seamless, industry-Linked, research-driven, technology-based education, thus embodies the core principles of NIIT University."
