-- Dr Sam Pitroda, eminent speaker & advisor to the PM on infrastructure, innovation & information inaugurated the Indo -US education Summit in the capital city today at the India Habitat center, followed by a motivating keynote address.
With the objective of exploring opportunities for academic collaborations between Indian institutions and American universities, this summit also provided an opportunity to meet up with top US universities under one roof & explore higher education in American universities.
Organised by the New Jersey based Indus Foundation, headed by its President S.B.Anumolu, the Indo-US Education Summit was a unique event, being held for the first time in India and was attended by university chancellors, presidents, provosts, deans, enrollment and recruitment officers of accredited American universities. The Indus Foundation is an American educational organization dedicated to the promotion of higher education for the growing student population of India. The Foundation is well established in the US for over 14 years. It is committed to assisting Indian students to access the best programs available in accredited American Universities.
More than three hundred Indian institutions and organizations interested in academic collaborations participated in the Summit.

This summit would also take place in Hyderabad on November 10 & Bangalore on November 13.
