The National Awards to Teachers are awarded on 5th September every year to public recognise meritorious teachers working in primary, middle and secondary schools. In total, there are 374 awards out of which 23 awards are reserved for Sanskrit, Persian and Arabic teachers.
This is the third consecutive year when Apeejay principals have received the prestigious National Award for Teachers. Earlier, the Principal, Apeejay School, Pitampura, New Delhi and the Principal, Apeejay School, Noida have been received this recognition in 2007 and 2006 respectively.
Each of the above principals, at the time of receiving award, had been working with Apeejay continuously for 15 years. The awards are a testimony to the quality work being done in the schools under the supervision and guidance of the Apeejay Education Society, lead by Founder President Dr. Stya Paul and Vice President Mrs. Sushma Berlia.
Mrs. Sushma Berlia, Vice President, Apeejay Education Society, said,” We feel immensely proud to have received this prestigious award for the third consecutive year.
