General Deepak Kapoor, Chief Of Army Staff to address students of IIM Lucknow
As part of the Leadership Interaction Series, will speak on "Leadershipon Impulse"
Tweet-- Indian Institute Of Management Lucknow hasorganized a ‘Leadership Interaction Series’ for the students of IIML. General Deepak Kapoor, Chief of Army Staff will be on campus on 10th August 2008. He will be addressing the IIML community as part of the "Leadership Series" conducted by the Industry Interaction Committee of IIM Lucknow. Leadership Series is a platform for students of IIML to interact with the high performing leaders from different walks of life.
General Deepak Kapoor will be giving insights about Leadership on Impulse with special emphasis on the unique decision making process under time and resource constraints. The students will learn from the thoughts & experiences of the distinguished speakers.
As part of the Leadership Series, Mr. R.K. Mishra, the Lead India Winner will also be addressing the students on 9th August 2008. He will give insights about the changing India of the 21st century and the role managers can play in building the nation and in helping in facilitating better governance. Being an entrepreneur, he sill also touch upon the role of entrepreneurship and Public Private Partnership model of development in the road ahead for the nation.
Mr. R.K Mishra is an advocate of Public-Private Partnerships in the areas of public policy and program implementation.He won Lead India initiative of the Times of India and has set-up “Change India” movement (www.changeindia.in) to channelize the voice and efforts of youth and concerned citizens towards social entrepreneurship, political awareness & civic consciousness. “Change India” provides a platform to participate and influence the formulation & implementation of policies and programs of the government.
