Quality Council of India organises a one-day workshop on accreditation for Schools

The one-day awareness programme with the support of National Board for quality Promotion (NBQP) is being planned in Pune on 9th of July, which will be held at Le Meridien.

The Quality Council of India (QCI), which is an autonomous body set up by the government of India and Indian Industry has developed the certification standard for quality school governance. The autonomous body is launching nationwide programmes to assist schools to implement the accreditation standard for quality school governance

The one-day awareness programme with the support of National Board for quality Promotion (NBQP) is being planned in Pune on 9th of July, which will be held at Le Meridien.

Present during the workshop will be Mr. Girdhar J. Gyani, Secretary General, Quality Council of India and Dr. K. B. Khushal, Chairman Education Services Committee.

Some of the topics that will be discussed are mentioned below:

  • Concepts of quality in school education
  • Need and background of the accreditation standard
  • Elements of the accreditation standard
  • Accreditation process methodology

Their major target audiences are Management/ Trustees, Principals/ heads of the institutions, teachers, consultants, and quality professionals.
