NIS Academy conducted a Convocation Ceremony; Also organises a Seminar on 'Creating Winners for Tomorrow 'for the youth, following the Convocation
Tweet-- The NIS Academy, a division of NIS Sparta (a Reliance ADA Group company) conducted its annual Convocation Ceremony, today. The academy felicitated its students by awarding them degrees and diplomas after successfully completing their respective programmes in the presence of eminent academicians and prominent personalities from the corporate world. The Convocation address was delivered by Justice Shyamal Kumar Sen, Ex-Governor, WB and Chairperson, Human Rights Commission (West Bengal). The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Muralidhar Rao, President & COO of NIS Sparta Ltd, as the Chief Guest.
Addressing The NIS Academy’s students at the Convocation, Mr. Muralidhar Rao said, “It gives me great pleasure to witness this event and the success that our students have achieved. The NIS Academy has been on an expansion drive, both in terms of the choice of courses offered and the number of centres across the country. Our objective is to offer employability-linked courses to more and more students, through innovative teaching methods all over the country.”
To mark the occasion, The NIS Academy also organised a seminar following the convocation, on Creating Winners for Tomorrow – A Perspective on Emerging Leadership for Youth. The seminar emphasised the need for creating a learning culture that promotes the exchange of ideas through innovative teaching methodologies and shapes the winners of tomorrow who are capable of changing business paradigms. Conducted by Mr. Manoj Chawla, Vice President & Head of Education Services Business Unit (ESBU), the seminar also discussed the opportunities available to youth, today. He stressed that each individual must work towards innovation and growth in their professional and personal lives.
The launch of education centers by The NIS Academy is being spurred by the increasing demand for jobs in verticals such as FMCG, Retail, Finance, Banking, Insurance and Auto, among others. Currently, the academy operates 28 education centres pan-India, with aggressive expansion plans for the months to come.
Through its education centres, the academy offers educational services to a large number of students, professionals and first time employment seekers. The academy performs a two-pronged role: sets up education centres to impart skills for long term career growth in Sales & Marketing, Customer Service and Applied Management and second, operates the School of Employability (SOE) initiative offering employability-linked vocational courses to employment seekers. The educational services offered have already enabled over 50,000 students of The NIS Academy enjoy rewarding careers with a number of industry leaders.
