Trane, a leading global provider of cooling and heating systems and services, announced today its Gold sponsorship of the Green Building Congress 2007 to be held at the Chennai Trade Centre from September 19-21.

This is the third year in a row that Trane has committed to green building through its sponsorship of The Green Building Congress.

This is an annual event during which industry leaders come together to create awareness on issues related to green buildings and the environment. The objectives of this year’s congress are to discuss India’s challenges, issues and opportunities related to sustainability, expose the participants to the latest global trends, and promote business opportunities to facilitate market transformation to green products.

As a gold sponsor and thought leader Trane’s Mike Thompson, Director of Environmental Affairs will be speaking about delivering efficiency through integrated systems. His presentation will share perspectives on energy efficiency in heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) technologies and its role in environmental responsibility. His session is scheduled for 21st September, at 04.05 p.m. at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai.
