Global Sources opened its largest-ever China Sourcing Fairs: Electronics & Components and Fashion Accessories in Hong Kong, occupying all 10 halls of Hong Kong's AsiaWorld-Expo.

The Fairs feature thousands of export-ready suppliers from China and Asia, with more than 60 percent from mainland China. The shows run through Oct. 14.

World's Biggest Buyers Set to Attend Electronics & Components Fair at AsiaWorld-Expo

Buyers from well-known companies are among over 30,000 who have pre- registered to attend the Fair.

Pre-registered buyers for Electronics & Components include: 3M, Best Buy, Canon, Circuit City, Coles Myer, Eastman Kodak, Energizer, Flextronics, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Hyundai, JVC, Microsoft, Motorola, NEC, Procter & Gamble, Samsung, Sanyo, Siemens, Sony, Whirlpool and ZTE.

The Electronics & Components Fair offers over 2,300 booths, 30 percent more than in April. It features more than 1,000 suppliers from mainland China alone, plus exhibitors from Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and the United States.

Special highlights are the New Product Gallery in Hall 10, and new pavilions for Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Health & Personal Care Electronics.

Other product pavilions are: Consumer Electronics; In-car Electronics; Computer & Networking; Telecom Products & Accessories; Security & Safety; Electronic Components; Opto-Electronics; and Power Supplies.

New Underwear & Swimwear Pavilion Launched at Fashion Accessories Fair

The China Sourcing Fair: Fashion Accessories is Asia's largest specialized fashion accessories trade show this fall.

With 750 booths, it offers buyers 50 percent more exhibits than at the April show. Featured are hundreds of suppliers from mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and India.

The Fair includes a new Underwear & Swimwear pavilion. Other products on display include Casual & Fashion Handbags; Tote & Evening Bags; Fashion Jewelry; Casual & Fashion Footwear; Hats & Caps; Umbrellas; Fashion Belts; Sunglasses; Gloves & Mittens; Ties, Scarves & Shawls; Socks & Stockings; Fashion Watches; and Luggage.

Some of the big-name buyers pre-registered for the Fashion Accessories Fair are: Baleno, Banana Moon, Carrefour, Coles Myer, Elle Fashion, Esprit, Gap, Jockey International, Johnson & Johnson, Li & Fung, Liz Claiborne, L'Oreal, Sears, Tommy Hilfiger and Triumph International.

Easy Access to AsiaWorld-Expo by Airport Express Train, Free Shuttle Buses

AsiaWorld-Expo is one minute from Hong Kong Airport and 28 minutes from downtown via the Airport Express Train.

Qualified buyers who pre-register for a show will receive coupons for free transport on the train. Visitors who use a stored-value 'Octopus Card' will enjoy discounted fares for same-day return trips.
