With an in-depth understanding of changing consumer preferences, emerging trends and varied requirements of the diverse cultural fabric of India, Titan recognizes the importance of gifting as a consumer trend especially during the festive and wedding seasons. From the inception of the brand, Titan has always focused on the phenomena of gifting as one of the main sales drivers for its products.
Speaking on the new campaign, Mr. Ajoy Chawla, Business Head-Titan, said, "Watches have always been a great gifting option, especially during the wedding season. A large percentage of Titan's sales are a direct result of watches bought for gifting."
The Wedding Collection presents a range of dressy yet contemporary watches in new interesting styles for both men and women. The range presents patterned cases with special dial features in gold and gold & steel finishes. The ladies range also consists of delicate links to match with bridal wear and traditional jewellery. Priced between Rs. 1000 and Rs.5500, the Wedding Collection is a must gift for a wedding trousseau. The collection will be available at all World of Titan showrooms and key multi-brand outlets across the country.
The gifting campaign is the brand's first major initiative in the current financial year. The campaign will be supported by a 360 degrees marketing campaign which includes a television commercial with brand ambassador Aamir Khan and actress Zohra Sehgal. Though the film will run essentially during the wedding season, the message
it leaves behind is that the joy of gifting can be felt anytime, be it any specific occasion or even just like that, without any reason. This emotion is well captured in the baseline "KABHI KISI MAUKE PE, KABHI YOOHIN.."
