Synefra bags the prestigious 'The Global Green Company of the Year 2010 Award' Adds another feather to its hat
Leading Innovative Infrastructure Solutions' provider Synefra Engineering & Construction Ltd added another feather to its cap by bagging the prestigious "The Global Green Company of the Year 2010" award under the category of esteemed Global Green Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2010 for its efforts and investment towards environment and sustainable development.
Tweet-- Leading Innovative Infrastructure Solutions' provider Synefra Engineering & Construction Ltd added another feather to its cap by bagging the prestigious "The Global Green Company of the Year 2010" award under the category of esteemed Global Green Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2010 for its efforts and investment towards environment and sustainable development. The award was presented by Green Energy Foundation (GEF) in association with UNESCO on the occasion of World Environment Day, held at MCCIA Trade Towers, Pune today.
Honorable Mayor Mr. MohanSingh Rajpal and Mr. Parsuramen, South Asia Director, UNESCO presented this award to Mr. JR Tanti, Managing Director, Synefra E&C in the presence of Honorable Commissioner (PMC), Mr. Mahesh Zagade, and Hon'rable Commissioner (PCMC) Mr. Ashish Sharma amongst other eminent dignitaries.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr. JR Tanti, Managing Director, Synefra E&C said, "World Environment is an ideal occasion to receive an award for our contribution towards environment. It gives us immense pleasure that our work is appreciated and while sustainable development is a way of life at Synefra, such global recognitions reinforce our commitment towards the environment we impact. We thank Green Energy Foundation and UNESCO for this honour."
Having already received two prestigious award ratings recently for their Suzlon One Earth Project, namely Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification by IGBC which was felicitated at Washington DC by U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) as well as the 5 Star by Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA), Synefra has achieved another milestone by bagging this award.
The objective of Green CSR Awards is to recognize the corporate world and their partners that have engaged in highly successful and impactful CSR campaigns in the past years in and around Pune and also to set a platform for every individual to contribute to the green cause as every drop adds to an ocean.
