Bangalore successfully concludes BuildArch & BuildUp 2008; sees over 5000 business visitors and generates business enquiry of Rs. 50 Crores

BuildArch & BuildUp 2008, two concurrent mega international events on building materials and real estate, organised by BIEC, CII and DMAG came to a successful close today. Over 5000 business visitors thronged the exhibition and generated business enquiry of Rs. 50 Crores . In the first edition itself, the event attracted 200 exhibitors participating including those from ten other countries - Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain & UAE among others

Bangalore, Karnataka, October 24, 2008 /India PRwire/ -- BuildArch & BuildUp 2008, two concurrent mega international events on building materials and real estate, organised by BIEC, CII and DMAG came to a successful close today. Over 5000 business visitors thronged the exhibition and generated business enquiry of Rs. 50 Crores . In the first edition itself, the event attracted 200 exhibitors participating including those from ten other countries - Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain & UAE among others. There were also country group pavilions from Australia, Italy and Korea.

Mega international event featuring recent global trends in building material and real estate, BuildArch 2008 and BuildUp 2008 was the perfect platform to reactivate the industry’s enthusiasm. The conferences at BuilArch & BuildUp 2008 were crowd pullers with most of the industry captains in attendance. BuildArch’s conference on the theme of “Buildings of the future” focused on what next in construction and architecture besides green buildings. BuildUp’s conference on the theme - “Indian realty gearing ahead” covered topics like emergence of real estate funds, real estate development etc. A highlight of the event was a CEO conclave also as part of this conference attracted the cream of the industry and saw participation of some of the biggest names in the space.

The enthusiastic participation from the exhibitors and visitors validates the fact that such a platform was a much awaited one and that in the long run BuildArch & BuildUp 2008 will prove to be fruitful to the infrastructure sector industry per se. The presence of the high level delegation from the Korea and Italy also indicates that the world is recognising the human skills and expertise India has to offer.
