The Toll Technology specialist EFKON India, a subsidiary of Efkon AG, along with its new shareholder the construction giant Strabag SE has received orders to build and manage toll management services for two more prestigious projects - The Pink City Expressway, and The Trichi Tollway valued at a whopping approximately Rs. 6.5 crores.

The Pink City Expressway is a stretch from Jaipur to Gurgaon via Kotputli. It is a 38 lane project for which Efkon is installing toll system for three toll plazas. Further, Efkon will also maintain the toll plazas. Currently underway, the project is scheduled for completion by November 2008.

The other project, The Trichi Tollway is a long stretch from Trichi to Ulundurpet on NH45.There are a total of 24 lanes in the plaza which gives scope for 12 lanes in each Plaza. Efkon will be installing 2 Plazas end to end in this tollway. The project is expected to get ready by December 2008.

It may be recalled that, Efkon India had recently bagged contracts for building and managing toll management services for three prestigious projects – The Bangalore Elevated Tollway, the Chennai IT Expressway and the Surat - Dahisar tollway.
