IEEE Computer Society and Revanalytics Partner to Develop Skilled Workforce to Meet Sri Lanka Software Industry Needs
The IEEE Computer Society has signed a partnership agreement with Revanalytics, part of a Sri Lanka-based training consortium, to offer the Certified Software Development Associate (CSDA) and Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) training and certifications. Under the agreement, Revanalytics will provide CSDP and CSDA training and certification in Sri Lanka at very affordable prices.

-- The IEEE Computer Society has signed a partnership agreement with Revanalytics, part of a Sri Lanka-based training consortium, to offer the Certified Software Development Associate (CSDA) and Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) training and certifications.
Under the agreement, Revanalytics will provide CSDP and CSDA training and certification in Sri Lanka at very affordable prices. The first CSDP training course will take place in mid-July at the Colombo International Nautical & Engineering College (CINEC) Maritime Campus, a state-of-the-art training facility in Malabe.
A qualified team of trainers from India will conduct the course. Training and assessment programs will be available to help college students and recent graduates pass the CSDA exam. Software developers with at least four years of work experience can prepare for the CSDP exam.
The availability of the IEEE Computer Society's CSDP and CSDA training and certification programs in Sri Lanka will provide a tremendous boost to the government's declared aim to make the country a center for knowledge-based business activities. Officials also expect that it will help Sri Lanka attract business process outsourcing, knowledge-process outsourcing, and software development work.
The Computer Society's CSDP program for mid-career professionals and CSDA credential for recent college graduates both confirm the skill and knowledge of those working in the field. The certifications are not only globally recognized but also help computer professionals seek lucrative employment and contracts in North America and Europe.

Revanalytics Lanka Private Lid. is part of a consortium that conducts training in conjunction with the Colombo International Nautical & Engineering College (CINEC) of Sri Lanka. With the full support of the Sri Lanka Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA), technical training will be delivered by Revanalytics at the CINEC training facilities.
