Mr. Ram is one of the promoters of Rural Shores Business Services, a firm that proposes to set up BPOs in villages in partnership with rural entrepreneurs and create employment opportunities in rural India. He was, till June 2008, the Head-IT at HDFC bank where he was responsible for taking the bank through the wave of technology enablement. Before that he spent 12 years with Bank of America setting up the bank’s Indian IT operations.Mr. Ram is an IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad alumnus.
