AABSyS will take part in GITA 2008, the Geospatial Infrastructure Solutions Conference, to be held between 25 and 27 August 2008 at the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park in Sydney, Australia. GITA is the largest GIS trade event to be held in Australia and New Zealand. This is AABSyS's first participation in an Australian trade fair. The company had hitherto been focusing on European and US trade fairs.

AABSyS will be exploring long-term partnership potential with Australian GIS & CAD companies, focusing on the emerging GIS markets in the areas of utility data capturing services, Cad drafting services and GIS services in Australia and New Zealand.

AABSyS provides Auto Cad drafting, GIS, web site and programming services from India. The company has capabilities in Smallworld (a GE product); GIS maintenance from design drawings; data capturing and maintenance of utility networks such as electricity, gas, water and sewage networks; GIS in mineral exploration (mining, oil and gas); georeferencing of maps and rubbersheeting. There’s a lot of demand for GIS services, especially in Smallworld, and AABSyS has a lot of expertise in Smallworld.
