Harbinger Group opens new centre in Baner, Pune
Harbinger Group, the Pune-based global provider of software products and services has recently opened a new centre in Pune
Tweet-- Harbinger Group, the Pune-based global provider of software products and services has recently opened a new centre in Pune. The new facility has a capacity of 135 seats and is located in the upcoming IT corridor of Baner.
The work done through this centre will be in the areas of innovative product development, content development and Web 2.0 technology. This facility is expected to address the infrastructure needs of the Harbinger Group which has recently announced its global expansion plans and is ramping up its sales and marketing teams.
This is Harbinger’s third centre in Pune. With the addition of this facility, Harbinger Group has increased its capacity in Pune to 350 seats. A growing product user base in 38 countries and increased offshore development activity have been the major factors behind the opening of the new centre.
Vikas Joshi, Chairman and Managing Director of Harbinger Group said “The new centre will cater to the short term growth plans of the Harbinger Group. We have an aggressive growth plan for the medium term which will result in doubling our employee strength in Pune within the next 1-2 years.”
